Following Council’s direction, staff issued a Request for Proposals (RFP2M25-28) for professional auditing services. Five proposals were received. Management Services staff reviewed and scored the proposals based on firm qualifications, staffing, schedule, scope of work, and references. HF&H Consultants ranked highest. Recommended Action: City Council approve a contract, subject to final approval by the City Manager and the City Attorney, by and between the City of Alhambra and HF&H Consultants, LLC, for professional services in the amount of $70,000 for a Waste Audit for Rate Year 2023-24 under the Solid Waste Management Services Agreement with Republic Services; and, direct staff to undertake the steps necessary to finalize Council’s action.
